: Kabaena Island
Bergabung Selama :PT. TRAVIA MAKMUR NIKELINDO smelting plant is located in Kabaena Island, about 230 km N/NE of Sulawesi Island. The plant processes the nickel-ferrous ores (laterites) we mine to produce ferronickel with an 18%-20% nickel content.
This is the raw material for the industrial production of stainless steel in overseas. The total quantity of ore processed per year is around 1,000,000 tonnes, equating to an annual ferronickel production of around 8,000-10,000 tonnes.
